Dear Parents,<\/p>\n

I hope you had a wonderful Bayram holiday. We all missed our children and excited to be back at school after the long vacation.<\/p>\n

We have left behind the very first month; full of excitement\u2026 full of joy\u2026 It is so nice to see new friendships and happy faces at the school. I am sure that it is a pleasure for you to hear your child\u2019s first English words and to notice his\/her social, physical, emotional and intellectual improvement.<\/p>\n

The first field trip will be to the Esat Fire Station. Our children are looking forward to see the big Fire Trucks and meet Firemen.
\nSecond field trip will be to the Ataturk\u2019s House in AOC. Dates will be announced.
\nRed day was full of fun. I am sure now everybody knows what red is. Thank you for sending your child with a red item.<\/p>\n

ANNOUNCEMENTS OF THE MONTH\"2\"<\/strong><\/p>\n

\uf0f0 October 6-10, Sacrifice Holiday
\n\uf0f0 October 16, Field Trip to the Esat Fire Station,
\n\uf0f0 October 24, Orange Day. Please make sure that your child has something Orange that day. They will be very upset if you forget.
\n\uf0f0 October 29, Anniversary of the Turkish Republic. No School
\n\uf0f0 October 31, Halloween Parade (No school after the party)
\nEach child will be asked to come to school in a simple costume. The children will form a parade in the front yard (depending on the weather) and get back inside to sing Halloween Songs. Our parade will begin on schedule. We ask that all parents arrive on time and are ready outside with cameras before the parade. We are all very excited for this very first performance of 2014-2015 school year!!!!!!
\n\uf0f0 After long debates with Cankaya Municipality, we now have a \u201cRecycling Box\u201d in front of our school. Please help us fill it with glass bottles.
\n\uf0f0 Scholastic Book Club of the 2014-2015 academic year has started. Please check the booklet and inform the office if you would like to order.
\n\uf0f0 Due to the temperature changes children are more vulnerable to sicknesses. Please send your child with appropriate labeled clothing. I would like to remind you our illness policy in order to provide a jerm free envoirement for our children.<\/p>\n

\"3\"ILLNESS POLICY:<\/strong>
\n\uf0f0 If your child comes to school when he\/she is not feeling well, he\/she will be more vulnerable to infections. It is in the best interest of your child and of other students at the Preschool that your child rests at home when he\/she has diarrhea or fever.
\n\uf0f0 If a child has recovered enough to come to school, we expect him\/her to participate in outdoor activities with the class.
\n\uf0f0 If the school contacts you concerning your child\u2019s condition (that he\/she is not feeling well) please cooperate by picking up your child as required. We will not call unless we deem that your child needs home rest.
\n\uf0f0 In case of any absence exceeding 2 days a brief notice will be much appreciated. In case of contagious illnesses, please notify school as soon as possible to allow us detect similar symptoms in other children and prevent multiple infections.
\n\uf0f0 Teachers are not allowed to administer any medication (including prescribed drugs) in order to avoid any liability<\/p>\n
