Dear Parents,<\/p>\n

Welcome to The International Preschool and Kindergarten! We are delighted that your children are here and thank you for entrusting us with them. \"1\"May the 2015-2016 year bring good health, new friends and many wonderful joys of discovery.
\nOur classrooms present beautifully and the children are busy getting acquainted. They are settling in nicely and the teachers have taken immediate control with skill, love, affection and enthusiasm.
\nYoung children are concerned about \u2018growing up\u2019. \"2\"They want to be independent. Yet, they need to feel at times that it is all right to be dependent. They want to go to school and \u2018be big\u2019. But growing up is sometimes scary. Starting school is scary. Leaving the security of home is scary; coping with strange adults called \u2018teachers\u2019 is scary. Coping with many children and expectations is scary. \"3\"Not being able to always \u2018behave\u2019 is scary.
\nAnd yes, it is sometimes scary for parents to let their children go. We take this into consideration when we gently and supportively ease your children into the school. When we plan our curriculum, we are sure to include discussions, stories and songs around the beginning of new things. If separation is hard for you, as a parent, just let us know and we\u2019ll give you the support you need.<\/p>\n

ANNOUNCEMENTS OF THE MONTH\"4\"
\n*\u00a0Mrs. Banu Engiz, who is specialized at Early Childhood Education, joined our successful team to share the office responsibility with Ms. Ebru. Ms. Banu used to work as a school director and a school psychologist for 21 years. Ms. Banu had her BS in Psychology ’89 and MA in Psychological Counseling and Guidance ’91 at\u00a0Bosphorus University, Istanbul. Ms. Banu loves working with children as well as coaching and guiding their parents in the crucial early years of development.
\n*\u00a0Every Friday your child will come home with a library book. Please read it together and let your child read it to you. The library book should be returned back to us Monday morning. Parents will be asked to replace any lost or damaged book.
\n*\u00a0Red Day: September 18. Please make sure that your child has something red on that day. They will be upset if you forget!
