December was a very busy month at the International Preschool. Our children worked really hard for the \u201cSanta\u2019s Visit\u201d.
\nSanta\u2019s Visit was a huge success. All of my children turned out to be excellent performers. Even the Younger Nursery Class & Toddler Group students were very comfortable on Stage. I\u2019m sure you benefitted from the children\u2019s \u201cWish List\u201d from Santa! Thank you for joining us on this joyful day.
\nOur children visited the Pink House, which belonged to Ismet Inonu, the second president of the Turkish republic. Our children had the chance to meet Mrs. Ozden Toker, Inonu\u2019s daughter. She admired our children\u2019s well-behaved manners. Thank you Mr. Altay Unal (Toprak\u2019s father from our Pre-K class) for arranging this visit.\"0202\"<\/p>\n

We will arrange a \u201cTeddy Bear Picnic\u201d at school on Friday, January 22. Please send a Teddy Bear to the school to stay with us until the Teddy Bear Picnic, on Monday, January 18. Children will SHARE their bears all week and celebrate learning this good manner during the Teddy Bear Picnic. If you want to send treats, please contact your child\u2019s teachers.<\/p>\n

\uf0f0 We still take our children outside twice a day. Please send your child with appropriate clothing (warm coat, hat, mittens and scarf).
\n\uf0f0 Please check the Scholastic Book Club Leaflets and contact the office if you would like to order until January 29.
\n\uf0f0 January 22: White Day – Please make sure that your child puts on something white that day. He\/she will be very upset if you forget to remind him\/her that.
\n\uf0f0 January 22: Teddy Bear Picnic. Please contact our teachers if you want to join our picnic by sending goodies!!!
\n\uf0f0 Report cards will be given on January 29 and Parent-Teacher meetings will be on February 1-5 by appointment.
\n\uf0f0 Donation box at the entrance will be waiting for the used\/new winter clothes to be shared by the people in need.
