Dear Parents,
Preschool children were very busy with celebrations in March. We started off with the Library Day. It was so much fun to see all those characters at the Preschool! Our children were invited to BESA (British Embassy School of Ankara) for the Library Day. Ms. Ann Kardas and Year 2 students read them books. It was so nice to see our graduates reading to our students. Our children’s good manners made us so proud.
We celebrated World Math Day with games and Mental Math applications.
We had a great St. Patrick’s Day party. Our children enjoyed the party a lot. Many thanks to the parents who sent snacks to our children. Thank you all for remembering our color day. Lucky us we had many leprucons on that day!
We started to work for the “International Theme” and we encourage our International Parents to visit our school and talk about their countries. It is wonderful for our children to know at this early age that the world is full of different people coming from different countries. This year we have families from USA, Britain, Congo, Angolia, Nigeria, Belgium, Holland, French, Kuwait, Bangladesh, Canada, UAE, Iraq, Sweden, Israel, Norway, Russia, Holland, Germany, China, South Africa, Japan and of course Turkey. We would like to invite our “International Parents” to visit our school on April 22 and introduce their countries. Please send your children with their national costume on that day.
We had two Key Stage 3 students, Jordan Wright and Kinda Attassi, from BESA for their “Work Experience Week”. It was so nice to have such well behaved, bright assistants at the Preschool!
We built our Weggie Garden on the Earth Day. We were very excited when we planted our seeds!
