Dear Parents,
December was a very busy month at the International Preschool. Our children worked really hard for the “Santa’s Visit”.
Our field trip was to CSO to listen to the New Year Concert.
Santa’s Visit was a huge success. All of my children turned out to be excellent performers. Even the Younger Nursery Class & Toddler Group students were very comfortable on Stage. I’m sure you benefitted from the children’s “Wish List” from Santa! Thank you for joining us on this joyful day.
We will arrange a “Teddy Bear Picnic” at school on Friday, January 30. Please send a Teddy Bear to the school to stay with us until the Teddy Bear Picnic, on Monday, January 26. Children will SHARE their bears all week and celebrate learning this good manner during the Teddy Bear Picnic. If you want to send treats, please contact your child’s teachers.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
We still take our children outside twice a day. Please send your child with appropriate clothing (warm coat, hat, mittens and scarf).
No winter recess. 80% of our students are international this year therefore we decided not to close the school during the Turkish school’s winter recess.
Please check the Scholastic Book Club Leaflets and contact the office if you would like to order until January 30.
January 23: White Day – Please make sure that your child puts on something white that day. He/she will be very upset if you forget to remind him/her that.
January 30: Teddy Bear Picnic. Please contact our teachers if you want to join our picnic by sending goodies!!!
Report cards will be given on January 30 and Parent-Teacher meetings will be on February 2-6 by appointment.
Donation box at the entrance will be waiting for the used/new winter clothes to be shared by the people in need.
If the government closes the schools on snowy days, we will be closed as well. Please check our website regularly, www.preschooltr.com for
